During her time as a judge on American Idol, Nicki Minaj faced significant pushback from Mariah Carey, who reportedly felt the Pink Friday rapper had no business judging a singing competition. Varying reports emerged regarding the feud. Per People, one source stated, "Mariah has been saying little things to jab at Nicki from day one of shooting.
