The 16-year-old was selling drugs to an 18-year-old, police say.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — A 16-year-old was arrested after police caught them with 432 suspected fentanyl pills in Montgomery County.
Montgomery County Police say officers were conducting an investigation when they noticed two teenagers buying and selling drugs on Georgian Wood Place in Glenmont. They found an 18-year-old buying suspected fentanyl pills from a 16-year-old.
Investigators searched the two and found 13 pills on the 18-year-old and 432 pills on the 16-year-old. The 16-year-old also had packaging materials and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Both the 16- and 18-year-old were arrested. The 16-year-old was brought to the Department of Juvenile Services to be charged and was then released to their guardian.
Police have not said what charges either of them face. Neither of them have been identified by police.
