The man who was shot is expected to be OK.
WASHINGTON — DC Police are searching for two men in connection to an early Monday morning shooting at the Wharf.
Investigators say one of the suspects is in a wheelchair and both were last seen traveling east on Wharf Street after the shooting.
Just before 1:30 a.m. on July 1, officers were called to investigate a shooting on District Square Southwest, between Wharf Street and Maine Avenue. Once there, officers found a man who had been shot. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to be OK.
Two men were identified as possible suspects. So far, no arrest have been made. Anyone who may have information to help investigators should contact police at 202-727-9099 or text the department's tip line at 50411.
