H.H. Poole Parkridge Elementary was placed under a lockdown following the shooting. That lockdown has since been lifted.
STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — Deputies are investigating after two teens were shot in Stafford County Thursday afternoon.
According to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the area of Parkway Boulevard and Sharon Lane.
When deputies arrived, they found two teenagers had been shot. One of those teens is currently in serious condition.
A suspect in the shooting has been taken into custody, according to the sheriff's office.
H.H. Poole Parkridge Elementary was placed on lockdown following the shooting. That lockdown has since been lifted.
There is no word on suspect information or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the shooting.
