21 Barbie Easter Eggs And Best Looks From The Movie's Press Tour So Far

With the Barbie movie coming out in just a few weeks, the press tour is in full swing. Of course, the few looks we've seen in the trailer are iconic, but IRL, Margot Robbie and her amazing stylist, Andrew Mukamal, have been bringing their very Barbie best to the press tour.

Here are 21 Easter eggs and best looks from the Barbie movie press tour:

1. At a press call, Margot wore a Hervé Léger dress inspired by the original Barbie doll's outfit from 1959.

2. At the Seoul premiere, she wore two outfits inspired by the 1985 "Day to Night" Barbie. Here's look 1.

3. And here's "Day to Night" Barbie look 2.

4. In Seoul, she also wore this Moschino look, inspired by the "Sparkling Pink" Barbie from 1964.

5. Heading to do press in Australia, she wore a strawberry-print dress from Moschino's Spring/Summer 2019 collection. The brand has close ties to the doll and actually released a Barbie-inspired ready-to-wear collection in 2015.

6. Posing with Barbie's dream car at a photo call in LA, Margot wore a custom Valentino look inspired by a "Pink & Fabulous" doll from 2015.

7. At CinemaCon, she wore a pink gingham Prada outfit reminiscent of a look from the Barbie trailer.

8. At the airport in Australia, she wore a vintage pink Chanel blazer. In the movie, most of Barbie's noncustom looks are Chanel because the designer brand is "very interested in supporting cinema and in helping [the costume department] find looks that will work in the story."

Costume designer Jacqueline Durran told British Vogue, "They sent us anything and everything that we wanted. They were just great to work with."

9. Margot, quite fittingly, wore Chanel once more at the Chanel Cruise 2024 Collection fashion show. She's also a brand ambassador.

10. In a snapshot from her stylist's Instagram story, Margot wore a yellow Chanel outfit. In her research for the film, costume designer Jacqueline Durran learned that, according to Mattel, the most popular Barbie costume of the last five years was a yellow dress.

11. In LA, she again embraced the doll's signature color in Bottega Veneta.

12. When Margot gave Architectural Digest a tour of Barbie's Malibu Dreamhouse, she wore one of her outfits from the movie. The outfit is also worn by one of the movie tie-in dolls.

13. Of course, Margot isn't the only cast member bringing amazing looks to the press tour. At a CinemaCon panel, Ryan Gosling wore a Barbie-pink jacket with a T-shirt bearing director Greta Gerwig's name in the classic Barbie font.

14. He gave a subtle nod to the doll's signature color with the light pink cardigan he wore to an LA press call.

15. For the movie, Jacqueline made all of the costumes fit into about 15 different color combinations "that riffed off the idea of a French Riviera beach in the early 1960s." Specifically, she told British Vogue that she focused on these colors: "lavender, bright blue, light blue; green, orange, beige; orange, blue, pink; two pinks and a yellow." At a Canadian press call, Ryan's suit fit perfectly into Jacqueline's aesthetic.

16. At the same press event, Simu Liu also dressed to fit the Barbie aesthetic.

17. He carried the aesthetic over to his interview on the CTV talk show The Social.

18. Like Margot, Issa Rae has been embracing pink while promoting Barbie. On The Kelly Clarkson Show, she wore bold pink.

19. She opted for a sparkly pink dress when meeting her movie tie-in doll for the first time.

20. And on her Instagram story, she shared her stunning President Barbie look from a press call in Australia.

21. And finally, America Ferrera opted for a more neutral color palette, but she gave a slight nod to Barbie's iconic hairstyle with a high ponytail.
