"You, Ciri and I, we belong together." 🥹
P.S. Spoilers ahead for The Witcher Season 3 Part One!
Although the future of The Witcher has already been confirmed, the third season feels like an ending of sorts for both long-time fans of the Netflix fantasy series and the cast involved.
While it isn't fair to judge Liam before he's had the chance to show us what he can do with the role, it's hard to imagine anyone but Henry playing Geralt. Besides being a huge fan of the source material that The Witcher series is based on, Henry brought the character to life in a way that no one else could.
We see this in Season 3 Part One of The Witcher, which — once again — sees the destinies of Geralt, Princess Ciri (Freya Alland) and Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Charlotra) become more and more intertwined.
In fact, fans were treated to an absolute feast of wholesome scenes highlighting a new family dynamic between Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri — and god, wasn't it adorable seeing our favourite grim Witcher step into a fatherly role for Ciri.
And, of course, there was Uncle Jaskier (Joey Batey) — providing the laughs, a new catchy Witcher song and some bisexual representation.
But by far, the highlight this season has to be Geralt and Yennifer reigniting the spark between them, which was on full display during the final episode of Part One where they teamed up to take down Stregobor.
Like, is this not peak romance?!
With the second instalment of Season 3 due to premiere on July 27, here are the best reactions to Part One to tide us over until then.
See you on July 27, Witcher fans!
For real though, I'm not ready to say goodbye to Henry Cavill.
