It's September, which means one thing for Torontonians and film-lovers: the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) has arrived.

TIFF starts on Sept. 5 and ends on the 15th.

TIFF is a huge deal in the film festival circuit. Tons of super-popular movies have premiered there (La La Land, for one), and it's a hotspot for A-list celebs. Like, a couple years ago, Taylor Swift came to TIFF for All Too Well: The Short Film.

So because TIFF is coming up, we decided to put together a list of allll the celebs who will be in Toronto over the coming weeks:

1. Angelina Jolie

Not only will Angelina Jolie be at TIFF — she'll be accepting the 2024 TIFF Tribute Award in Impact Media.

"This award recognizes her exceptional achievements in filmmaking, and her unwavering commitment for positive change, solidifying her status as a veritable humanitarian and global force to be reckoned with," the CEO of TIFF said.

2. Selena Gomez

Selena will indeed be at TIFF this year to celebrate the release of the movie Emilia Pérez, which she stars in alongside Zoe Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón.

In an interview, she recently said she's excited to come back to Toronto because she hasn't been in awhile — and, you know, to eat at Tims.

3. Cate Blanchett

Another *amazing* celeb who's about to receive an award at TIFF! Cate will be receiving the TIFF Share Her Journey Groundbreaker Award, also at the 2024 TIFF Tribute Awards.

There will also be an In Conversation With Cate Blanchett event, in which she'll discuss her career to a small audience.

4. Elton John

A documentary about Elton John is actually premiering at TIFF, so of course he'll be making an appearance.

The movie is called Elton John: Never Too Late, and it's actually co-directed by his husband David Furnish — so you know there'll be anecdotes and clips nobody has ever seen before.

5. Amy Adams

Nightbitch has gotten lots of hype online — and it's actually premiering at TIFF as well. It's starring Amy Adams, and she'll be there to celebrate as well.

The movie is actually based on a book, and it's about a woman who may or may not be turning into a dog. (Get it? Nightbitch?)

6. Will Ferrell

Will's new film Will & Harper is premiering internationally at TIFF, and Will himself will be there.

This one is a documentary about Will Ferrell and Harper Steele, who were both on SNL. It talks about Harper's transition, and follows the two celebs on a road trip.

7. Bruce Springsteen

8. Pharrell Williams

Pharrell Williams is coming to TIFF for his new movie Piece by Piece, which is an animated LEGO feature film.

With the voices of Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, and Jay-Z, this movie tells Pharrell's life story. So you'll be sure to spot Pharrell on a red carpet or two at TIFF this year!

And of course, there are some celebs who haven't been confirmed to be joining us at TIFF, but have films premiering. Here are some celebs who might make an appearance at TIFF:

9. Jennifer Lopez

We're, like, 99% sure JLo will be at TIFF this year for the premiere of Unstoppable, which she stars in alongside Don Cheadle.

Page Six recently revealed that she'll be there, alongside the news that her now-ex Ben Affleck will not be there. But we haven't heard it from the source herself, so we'll have to wait with bated breath to see if JLo appears on the red carpet.

10. Barry Keoghan

Barry Keoghan stars in Bird, which will be playing at TIFF, so he may make an appearance. And will Sabrina Carpenter be there with him? We're not too sure, but I'm praying that she will!

11. Jacob Elordi

It's not a stretch to guess that Jacob Elordi might be at TIFF this year — not just because he lived here not too long ago. He might be here for On Swift Horses, a movie he stars in, which has its world premiere at TIFF.

12. Daisy Edgar-Jones

And who stars alongside Jacob Elordi in On Swift Horses but Daisy Edgar-Jones! So it's fair to assume both of them will be there to celebrate the movie.

13. Nicole Kidman

Her movie Babygirl will have its North American premiere at TIFF, so it's possible Nicole will be here in celebration as well!

14. Florence Pugh

The long-awaited movie We Live In Time also has its world premiere at TIFF, so I'd bet Florence Pugh will be there! This movie has gotten lots of hype online as well, so I'm beyond intrigued to see how people feel about it after it premieres.

15. Andrew Garfield

And if Florence Pugh comes to the premiere of We Live In Time, I'm crossing my fingers Andrew Garfield will be there too, because he co-stars in the movie alongside her! IDK about you, but I'm so excited to see them as romantic leads.

16. Tom Hiddleston

Tom Hiddleston is in another movie with a TIFF world premiere, so I wouldn't be surprised if he came to say hello. It's called The Life of Chuck, and it's an adaptation of a Stephen King novella. Exciting!

17. Mark Hamill

Mark Hamill is also in The Life of Chuck, so it's possible he'll be on the red carpet as well.

18. Pamela Anderson

We'll be suuuper pumped if this Canadian icon decides to come back home to celebrate The Last Showgirl, which she stars in alongside Dave Bautista and Jamie Lee Curtis. Which leads us to...

19. Jamie Lee Curtis

Jamie is also in The Last Showgirl with Pamela Anderson and Dave Bautista, so it's highly possible she'll be at TIFF, too.

20. Julianne Moore

Julianne stars in The Room Next Door, and the movie has its North American premiere at TIFF, so she might be there. You might not know that The Room Next Door is also based on a book called What Are You Going Through by Sigrid Nunez.

21. Sandra Oh

Another Canadian celeb we'd LOVE to have back in Toronto to celebrate a new movie release! This one is actually a Canadian movie called Can I Get A Witness?.

22. Orlando Bloom

'00s heartthrob Orlando Bloom stars in The Cut as a former boxer who wants to get out of retirement and start fighting again. This movie has its world premiere at TIFF, so we'll keep our eyes peeled for Orlando.

23. Sydney Sweeney

Eden, a drama film starring Jude Law and Vanessa Kirby, premieres globally at TIFF. Sydney is a supporting actress in the movie, so she could very well be there alongside the leads!
