24 TV And Movie Roles That Were So Perfectly Portrayed By An Actor, Literally No One Else Could Have Done It

"The only reason a character could be so beloved while being so irritating and offensive is because of how likable of a person Steve Carrell is."

Every so often while watching a movie or a TV show, you come across a performance that is so pitch-perfect, you're convinced no other actor on Earth would have been able to play the role.

Several come to mind for me immediately, and I wanted to know what the BuzzFeed Community thought. So, I recently asked them to share the roles they thought fit this criterion, and they are honestly so correct.

1. "Rachel McAdams as Regina George for sure."

2. "Steve Carrell as Michael Scott on The Office."

"The only reason a character could be so beloved while being so irritating and offensive is because of how likable of a person Steve Carrell is. He finds little ways to make you feel sorry for the character or add little bits of depth to the role that completely elevated the show. It's the reason why the show never really found its footing again after he left. The balance he brought to the main role couldn't be duplicated."

3. "Tituss Burgess as Titus Andromedon in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. I mean, seriously, who could play Titus better than Tituss? Who else could sing 'Peeno Noir, caviar, Myanmar, mid-sized car' and make it classy?"
