CHANTILLY, Va. — After a 3-year-old was hit by a truck and killed in Chantilly, Virginia on Saturday night, Fairfax County Police have assigned a unit to investigate the deadly crash.
The truck driver stayed at the scene of the deadly crash Saturday night on the 4200 block Airline Parkway, a residential area in Chantilly, according to Fairfax County Police.
"The child was declared deceased on scene," police reported at around 6:40 p.m. " ... Our Crash Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this tragic incident."
