4 injured in Woodbridge shooting

The shooting happened at a house in the 14700 block of Birchdale Avenue.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — An investigation is underway after four people were shot in a neighborhood in Woodbridge on Friday afternoon, the Prince William County Police Department said.

At 2:24 p.m., officers responded to a home located in the 14700 block of Birchdale Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found four adult victims suffering from gunshot wounds. 

The police department said the shooting was confined to the house.

The suspect is not in custody. Police said they're not believed to still be in the area. 

The shooting does not appear to be random, the police department said.

The investigation is ongoing.

No other information was immediately available.
