WASHINGTON — Police are investigating a shooting that left four people wounded in Southeast Monday evening.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened in the 1200 block of Potomac Avenue, Southeast just after 8 p.m.
Very little information is available regarding the shooting at this time but police have confirmed to WUSA9 that four people were wounded in the shooting. Their exact conditions are unknown.
While no suspect information has been announced, police released a photo of a blue vehicle believed to be connected to the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at (202) 727-9099 or text the department's tip line at 50411.
MPD seeks the public's assistance in identifying and locating this blue vehicle that was involved in a shooting at approximately 8:03 PM, in the area of the 1000 block of 12th Street, SE.
