4 shot in Southeast DC, including a girl

Police are looking for four suspects in black clothing.

WASHINGTON — Four people have been shot in Southeast D.C. and police are looking for three people thought to be responsible.

Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the intersection of 22nd Street and Alabama Avenue, Southeast for a reported shooting around 11:30 a.m. That's near Suitland Parkway. 

When police got to the scene, they found four people shot. A spokesperson for the police department said two men were found unconscious and not breathing. Another man was taken to the hospital, along with a juvenile female. Police have not said how old the girl is. The conditions of the two people in the hospital are not known. 

Police said they were initially looking for a white sedan that was captured by surveillance cameras. Detectives found that sedan at 1400 Congress Street Southeast a short time later. Now, police are searching for a blue Dodge Charger the armed suspects were seen getting into.

The intersection of 22nd Street and Alabama Avenue is closed due to the police activity. Drivers should use alternate routes.
