A New Season Of "The Bachelorette" Just Premiered, And Bachelor Nation Twitter Had Many, Many Thoughts

Not the backflip contest?! Why do men?

The Bachelorette is BACK (finally!!) and so are the tweets from Bachelor Nation. Live tweeting is actually a vital part of the watching experience — that and a thicc glass of rosé filled to the brim. The vibes of Season 20 were immaculate as we began our journey with Charity, a therapist from Georgia who stars as our newest Bachelorette. If there's one thing men of reality TV need, it's a therapist. I'm just hoping she isn't the first one they've ever spoken to. 😩

Here are all the best tweets that perfectly summarize the magic and messiness of Monday night's premiere episode:

1. I began the evening by emotionally wrestling with how long I've been mindlessly consuming this show and, naturally, how that relates to my finite mortality:

2. Some people were feeling pretty rough because of the new time slot:

3. As a slew of 25 men filled my screen, I begged for the first episode to be treated like a corporate team building retreat:

4. Above all, the support for our Bachelorette was overflowing <3:

6. I began to stan as immediate fan favorites started to emerge:

7. Everyone loved Joey, our short king:

8. Xavier, the 6'6" scientist and zaddy, earned several heart eye emojis:

9. It only took a single episode to get people campaigning for Warwick to be The Bachelor:

10. Everyone expeditiously fell for this sweetie, John:

11. Some people said, "You know what? I'm gonna shoot my shot":

12. There were some men I wasn't living for — Chris, the back flip guy. This man flipped at least *six* times in a two hour episode:

14. After Brayden kissed Charity and then told the other men, Bachelor Nation had mixed reviews about his vibe:

15. Was it cockiness or confidence? We were divided as a nation:

16. The star of the episode was Charity's brother, Nehemiah, who went "undercover" as a bartender to see what the men were really saying when she wasn't around. "Disguise" is a pretty loose term here, because production did NOT splurge on the look:

18. Despite his middle-school-drama-club level costume, I definitely still enjoyed every second of his incognito research on the men:

There’s more red flags at this cocktail party than red roses. Undercover Brother to the rescue 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 #TheBachelorette

19. After he revealed it was actually him the whole time (gasp!), the guys seemed just a teensy bit stressed:

21. Here's the real tea: Charity's brother warned her that after she and Brayden kissed, Brayden seemed cocky while talking about the intimate moment. The editing made us think that Charity wouldn't like this and maybe even send him home, but actually? The complete opposite happened:

22. We were all shook:

23. Then it was time for the first rose ceremony, and we immediately lost back flip guy:

24. And there's always one polarizing character that gets the producer rose. This year, it's Spencer:

25. Clearly we all have a pretty toxic relationship with the show, but we continue to tune in anyway:

That's a wrap on the first episode! The driveway was wet, the men were rowdy, and the wine was flowing both on screen and in our living rooms. Welcome back , Bachelor Nation. We made it. I'll be on the edge of my seat (well, my couch) for all of it! Let me know in the comments if you have any opinions as this season begins! ⬇️
