"About A Boy" Costars Nicholas Hoult And Toni Collette Might Reunite On Screen After 21 Years

According to the Hollywood Reporter, 92-year-old actor-director Clint Eastwood (Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby) has a new film in the works with Warner Bros. He intends to cast Nicholas and Toni for the leading roles.

His next feature is Juror No. 2, a legal drama that follows a conflicted juror (possibly Hoult) who must decide whether or not to reveal his involvement in a murder trial. Collette is set to play the prosecutor.

But, as exciting as this new movie sounds, I can't get over the fact that this could mean a reunion for the actors who played alongside each other over two decades ago in About A Boy.

The 2002 romantic comedy was an adaptation of the Nick Hornby novel of the same name about a man named Will, played by Hugh Grant, who goes to a single parents' community group to pick up women.

Unfortunately, Will's playboy plans are thwarted by the arrival of an awkward boy, Marcus (played by Nicholas), and his troubled mother, Fiona (played by Toni).

Toni and Nicholas had brilliant on-screen chemistry in 2002, so it'll be great to see them together again.

And this is what the Mafia Mamma actor looks like now.

Here's Nicholas 21 years ago.

And this is what the Renfield actor looks like now.

And here's Nicholas and Toni at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City back in 2002.

I simply can't wait for round two of their on-screen magic.
