Addison Rae's 2024 VMAs Campy Madonna-Inspired Look Is A Must-See

The 2024 MTV VMAs are here, and the celebrities aren't holding back on the red carpet this year — especially the pop girlies.

TikTok star turned rising Gen Z pop star Addison Rae, celebrating the release of her new single "Diet Pepsi," hit the red carpet with a look giving camp and nostalgic glam.

Addison basically showed up in nothing but her undies. Miss Claire Sullivan custom-made the white ensemble, which included ivory heels and a matching bra with boa feathers.

The best part of the outfit was the tulle tutu that draped over her backside.

Addison's campy look was partly inspired by her new single and her admiration for Madonna's iconic Jean Paul Gaultier cone bra from her Blond Ambition Tour.

Likewise, Addison's music for "Diet Pepsi" includes homages to Madonna's controversial look. In 1989, Madonna's $5 million sponsorship deal was pulled after the music video of "Like a Prayer" premiered because it combined Catholic imagery and BDSM. The Vatican even called for a boycott of Pepsi and its subsidiaries.

Years later, Addison is giving the world another taste of Madonna's controversial Pepsi saga, but this time — it's diet.
