While time will tell exactly what the HBO series has in store for us in the coming weeks, Olivia Cooke has revealed what we shouldn't be expecting to see.

For context, Olivia plays Alicent in the Game of Thrones prequel, and in a recent interview with Elle, she detailed an eyebrow-raising scene that ended up being cut from the show.

However, Olivia went on to reveal that one of her sex scenes did end up being considered gratuitous by showrunner Ryan Condal, which resulted in it being scrapped from the show entirely.

While Olivia didn’t detail who she filmed the scene with, she did say that it was “carnal” and “animalistic.”

“It was messy as fuck. It wasn’t beautiful, and that was really fun to do,” she said. “I think Ryan said we weren’t learning any more about the characters, which I disagree with slightly, but it’s okay. It’s his show.”

Meanwhile, while Olivia is on board with the sex scenes she has been involved in for House of the Dragon, the same can’t be said for her costar Matt Smith, who plays Daemon.

Matt’s comments came after Emilia Clarke, one of the original stars of Game of Thrones, expressed her discomfort at the amount of gratuitous nudity she experienced during filming.
