Y'all, I might not pay rent to get this.

In case you missed it, today Apple announced its long-rumored VR headset, Vision Pro, at WWDC 2023. While they officially unveiled it, it won't go on sale until early 2024.

And I have to admit, this looks really, really cool, and I want one!

Heck, they even brought Disney CEO Bob Iger out to demonstrate how Disney+ will look on the Vision Pro.

However, all that amazingness comes at a price...of $3,499!!! Considering the national median rent is around $1,967, this thing costs almost as much as two months rent.

Of course, people had some hilarious reactions to the Vision Pro's price tag. So, I decided to round up some funny tweets about it:

i am sorry but strapping a 3500 pair of VR goggles to your face in public is like taping a "Please Rob Me" sign to your chest

For $3500 I will come to your house, tuck you in and read one of our books to you. I'll even do the voices. I'm so serious.

for $3500 I would do mixed reality the old fashioned way: buying a plane ticket to Peru for a shaman guided Ayahuasca retreat and enduring ego death
