Argument over dogs turns deadly in Montgomery County

The man died at the hospital about two weeks after being hit in the head.

BOYDS, Md. — Police in Montgomery County are investigating after a fight turned deadly in Boyds, Maryland last month. The confrontation started in the 20200 block of Bucklodge Road on June 14. 

According to police, 40-year-old Marvin Rolando Guevara Guevara was involved in an argument with a woman over his dogs running loose in the neighborhood and into her family's property. The argument escalated and the woman punched Guevara Guevara in the head.

The man was taken to the hospital. He later died from his injuries about two weeks later, on June 30. Police say the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
