I know they say don't mix work with pleasure, but if that was the case, we'd have missed out on some iconic pairings.

It's not uncommon for celebs to meet on set, in fact, some absolute power couples started out that way! We've rounded up some of our favourite celebrity pairings who found love at their day job...

1. Tom Holland and Zendaya

The two actors met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. Throughout the press tour for the movie, their chemistry was undeniable, but it wasn't until 2021 that they made their relationship "Instagram official". Of course, the pair are still loved up today, and in an interview with BuzzFeed, Tom said: "I'm locked up, so I’m happy and in love."

2. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson

Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll most definitely recognise this pairing from the film franchise, Twilight. In 2009, the couple went public, but this all came to an abrupt end in 2012 when Kristen was caught cheating with Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. After, Kristen did release a public apology stating that she was "deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected."

3. Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli

4. Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder

If, like me, you're a fan of The Vampire Diaries, then you'll be familiar with the steamy pairing of Elena Gilbert and Damon Salvatore. For three years this pair took their relationship off screen too. They both kept a relatively low profile while dating, and in 2012, Nina had to deny that she had rejected a proposal from Ian by telling Access Weekly "I would be wearing a ring if I had one". The actor then added, "I'm young. I'm really young." In 2013, they confirmed their breakup and are now both happy in separate relationships.

5. Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker

The couple met on the set of television show Soul Food and married in 2005. Since then, they have had two children, and in an interview with Essence, Boris stated that the family likes to stay connected. "Every night we have dinner together - no phones, no nothing. It’s just us cooking and then we’ll have dinner together. And we talk about everything." Couple goals or what?

6. Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling

Despite being one of the most private couples in Hollywood – their marriage wasn't even confirmed until 2022 – Eva and Ryan are pretty solid and even have two daughters together. They met in 2011 on the set of The Place Beyond The Pines, and soon after they begun dating. Eva also revealed a wrist tattoo that reads "de Gosling" on her Instagram in 2022, and in a recent Instagram post, she spoke about his role as Ken in Barbie: "to say he’s the greatest actor I’ve ever worked with is an understatement." And come on, Ryan also wore her initial on a necklace during the Barbie premiere!

7. Ashley Benson and Cara Delevingne

This pair met on the independent film set of Her Smell, in 2018 and dating rumours began when a photo of them kissing at Heathrow airport was released. Cara and Ashley kept a low profile and didn't actually properly confirm their relationship in 2019 with Cara dedicating a Pride Instagram post to Ashley. Unfortunately, in 2020, the couple decided to split, with a source telling People that "the relationship just ran its course." Yes, I am still upset about this.
