The 2023 Cannes Film Festival is in full swing. It's the 76th year of the annual event, which showcases new films across all genres, including documentaries, from around the world.

It's one of the biggest international film festivals, which means we get a ton of amazing moments from actors, directors, producers, writers, and more who arrive at Cannes to showcase their latest projects.

So far, some of the biggest films at Cannes this year have been Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Killers of the Flower Moon, May December, and more, with this being the last week of the festival.

While everything that happens on the Cannes red carpet, namely the fashion, is always talked about, what happens behind the scenes at afterparties and inside screenings also make for the best moments at Cannes.

This year, we've gotten Harrison Ford crying after the final Indiana Jones film screened, Elle Fanning wearing a gorgeous dress to an afterparty, and much more.

While attending Kering's 2023 Women In Motion dinner, Michelle and Brie ended up dancing together in a video shared by Variety that has now gone viral.

Like, I live to be as carefree and having as much fun as Michelle and Brie were in this moment.

They are literally standing on their chairs without a care in the world. I love them so much.

According to Variety, the duo went on dancing at the event until around 2 a.m. when Michelle finally left, reportedly having spent much of the night alongside Brie.

Afterwards, Brie and Michelle both shared the video to their Instagram accounts. Brie captioned it with, "Dancing with THE QUEEN," while Michelle remarked that she was "happy to meet Brie Larson finally," saying they had "so much fun last night."

I love this video even more now knowing they had literally never met before and suddenly had this connection.

And other people in the comments were obsessed with this newfound friendship between the duo:

Michelle was celebrated at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival with Kering's Women in Motion Award. Launched in 2015, the dinner and ceremony is part of the Women in Motion program, which celebrates the creativity and contribution made by women in the world of culture and the arts.

Meanwhile, Brie is on the 2023 Cannes feature films jury, alongside other actors, producers, writers, and directors like Ruben Östlund and Paul Dano.

Anyway, I hope Michelle and Brie continue to live it up at Cannes, and I wouldn't say no to a movie starring the duo in the future.
