Bryan Cranston had to lay down the law when it came to a badly behaved crew member on the set of Breaking Bad.

Throughout his career, Bryan says he's only had to get someone fired once — and it sounds like they really deserved it.

While looking back on his time on set, Bryan says one crew member showed up drunk and made a lot of people uneasy.

"He was incredibly inappropriate and inebriated, and he made a lot of people on our show feel very uncomfortable," Bryan told GQ.

He continued, "And when I went in to talk to my producer about it, [I] said, 'We've got to let him go. We've got to fire him. It's inexcusable behavior.'"

It turns out that the producer was on the same page because he was completely ready to fire the crew member, too.

"He said, 'It’s already done,'" Bryan revealed.

Now when Bryan's producing a project, he does a thorough background check for whoever he hires. He says he goes to their IMDb page and compiles a list of everyone he knows who has worked with them — and then calls them.

"It rewards good behavior, and I like doing that," Bryan shared.
