Authorities were alerted of a fire in a 4-story residential complex. Evacuations of residents are ongoing.
CLARKSBURG, Md. — Montgomery County Fire and Ems teams are responding to a building fire at 12832 Clarksburg Square Road.
Rescue teams stated on X, formerly Twitter, the report of fire to the rear of a 4-story residential complex:
.@mcfrs is responding to 12832 Clarksburg Square Rd(Clarksburg) for a building fire with a report of fire to the rear of a 4-story residential apartment building with rescues. 2nd alarm requested. @DavidPazos15 @mcfrsPIO

Four residents are currently being evaluated. and two were transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
WUSA9 spoke with Montgomery County Fire and Ems representatives who affirmed there are still 'many hot spots' in the area.
