The fire department has not said if anyone was inside the home at the time of the crash.
GLENARDEN, Md. — A driver is in critical condition after a car crashed into a Glenarden home Tuesday evening.
According to a spokesperson with the Prince George's County Fire Department, the crash happened in the 3100 block of Church Street shortly before 4:15 p.m.
When first responders arrived at the home for what they were told was a collapse investigation, they found the car partially inside the lower-level portion of the home. One person was trapped inside the car. They were rescued and taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.
There is no word on what caused the driver to crash into the home at this time.
The fire department has not said if anyone was inside the home at the time of the crash.
