Cardi B announced her pregnancy shortly after filing for divorce from the Migos rapper.
LOS ANGELES — Cardi B is now a mother of three.
The "I Like It" rapper gave birth to her third baby on Saturday, Sept. 7, she announced in a series of Instagram photos and videos posted Thursday with the caption "The prettiest lil thing."
Cardi B's estranged husband Offset can be seen cradling their baby girl in the photos and videos. The couple did not immediately announce the baby's name.
A representative for Cardi B confirmed the news to The Associated Press at the time, writing, “This is not based on any one particular incident, it has been a long time coming and is amicable.”
Cardi B and Offset, whose birth names are Belcalis Almanzar and Kiari Cephus respectively, have two other children together: 5-year-old daughter Kulture and 2-year-old son Wave.
Last month, she asked the courts for primary custody of her children and sought child support from Offset.
The hip-hop power couple were secretly wed on Sept. 20, 2017, in Atlanta. They only announced their engagement a month later.
In 2020, Cardi B previously filed for divorce from Offset, claiming her marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
