Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess – Vinyl

The album, which first came out in August of 2023, has become a pop phenomena exactly one year later. It reached a high of No. 2 on the Billboard 200 last month, dominated only by Taylor Swift‘s “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Its been a whirlwind year for the 26 year-old Midwesterner, whose debut album propelled her to pop stardom in a matter of months. Over the past few weeks alone, she’s performed to thousands at Lollapalooza, where she was swapped as a last-minute headliner due to crowd size, in addition to Outside Lands and the VMAs last weekend. She’s now set to make her “SNL” debut this season on the Nov. 2 show with John Mulaney hosting.

She also will continue to bring “The Midwest Princess” tour to venues across the United States this fall. Roan has expanded the lineup to include newly-announced dates at the All Things Go festival in Forest Hills, N.Y. on Sept. 28 as well as All Things Go in Columbia, MD. She will then hit Firstbank Amphitheater in Franklin, TN on Oct. 1, followed by the Walmart Amp in Rogers, AR on Oct. 2 and Westfair Amphitheater in Council Bluffs, IA on Oct. 3. You can buy tickets here.
