Key game last week: Baylor 2, Texas A&M 1 (8). A day after Texas A&M's Emiley Kennedy no-hit the Bears, Baylor got revenge in an eight-inning thriller. Amber Toven lined a single up the middle with two on and one out to give the Bears a walk-off victory in a battle of ranked opponents.
Marquee game to watch: Florida State-Oklahoma State (Friday, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN+). These top-five teams meet for a three-game series beginning on Friday. The Cowgirls' Kelly Maxwell is among the nation's leaders in strikeouts per seven innings, while the Seminoles' Kathryn Sandercock anchors a pitching staff that hasn't given up more than two runs in nine straight games.
Player to watch: NiJaree Canady, Stanford. The freshman Canady has yet to allow a run in 44 innings so far this season, and she showed off her dominance even more over the weekend. She struck out 18 batters in a seven-inning no-hitter against Villanova on Friday, the second no-no she has thrown so far this season.
Play of the week: Clemson is 20-1 on the season thanks to timely hitting, strong pitching and great defense -- like this diving snag by shortstop Alia Logoleo.
