WASHINGTON — Police are investigating a shooting in Southeast D.C. that left three women wounded Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened in the 2900 block of Nelson Place, Southeast just after 2:30 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found three women who had been shot. All three wounded women were conscious and breathing when first responders took them to an area hospital for help.
No information has been released regarding the person, or people, who shot the women and investigators have not said anything regarding possible motives or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the shooting.
