When we asked MPD why it took nearly two weeks for the incident to be reported, they declined to answer.
WASHINGTON — DC Police need your help locating 1-year-old Morgan Carter.
Police told us Morgan was last seen on Oct. 31 in the 5300 block of E Street, SE. The incident wasn't reported until Monday.
Officers believe this is a domestic situation and are working to locate Morgan and the adult they think has custody of her.

Morgan is described as Black girl, with black hair and brown eyes. Morgan's hair was in a braided hairstyle last time she was seen.
She is believed to be wearing a pink and black jacket.
