The Harris campaign said it would spotlight “trusted messengers” from battleground states over the convention’s three remaining days.
WASHINGTON — The Democratic National Convention heads into its second day Tuesday as the party's attention pivots toward Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
Former President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and second gentleman Doug Emhoff are headlining the second night in the United Center. The theme for the night is "A Bold Vision for America's Future."
Biden won’t be in the hall to see his former running mate speak, as he departed Chicago after delivering his own speech on Monday night.
The rest of Tuesday's speaking program, which is scheduled to last nearly five hours, will include a mix of Democratic Party stars and even some Republicans.
