On her talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show, Drew has really candid, deep conversations with guests and tends to get super close to them. Like here with Brooke Shields:

She told Jimmy that she wanted her show to be filled with good energy. She said she did not want her interviews to be "like I'm sitting here asking you a question and not revealing anything about myself." Drew said she's "indexed in the complete opposite extreme," hence the super close interview style.

"I'm on my knees. I'm hugging," Drew said. "I feel this magnetic pull."

"My therapist would say you're not supposed to be attached to things, but I'm so attached to this. I love doing the show so much. I get to learn from people every day. I get to have these incredible conversations that I definitely take something away with. It's always improving my life. It's profound. It's fun. It's whiplash comedy — because that's like life. The heavier it gets, the more you want to laugh."

"I love people," she continued. "I love every human being on the planet. I'm fascinated. Everyone has a story. Every person is exceptional and interesting. It is so fun to literally get to be a conversationalist at work."

Jimmy then showed Drew a meme about her being close to guests. Drew started dying laughing. "At first I was like, 'Oh, is this a good thing? I can't tell."

"Then, I was like, 'No, this is awesome!' It's so much fun."

God, I love her. You can watch her full interview here.
