The character was originally voiced by America Ferrera.
So far there's been no word on whether any of the original voice cast might make a cameo in the new film, though I'm sure fans would love to see them pop up.
This isn't Parker's first live-action remake of an animated movie. She appeared alongside Danny DeVito and Colin Farrell in 2019's Dumbo.
Dean DeBlois, who wrote and directed the original How to Train Your Dragon trilogy, will write, direct, and produce the live-action adaptation.
Original trilogy composer John Powell is returning for the new movie as well.
Finally, it's currently set to hit theaters March 14, 2025 — almost 15 years to the day after the original film did.
