The Fairfax County Government is advising residents who are dealing with issues attempting to call emergency services to text 911 instead. Residents can also try a phone from a different provider and see if that works or try to call from a landline or business phone.
"There is no current estimated time for restored service, but the county is working with partners to resolve the issue as quickly as possible," a spokesperson said Wednesday.
