No injuries have been reported at this time as a result of the fire.
FALLS CHURCH, Va. — Ferocious flames took over a Falls Church apartment building Wednesday morning, resulting in firefighters battling the heavy fire.
Just before 9:50 a.m., the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department announced on X that they responded to Hollywood Road, off of West Street and Lee Highway, after report of an apartment fire. At the location, the fire was declared to be a two-alarm fire.
The flames and heavy smoke was seen coming from the top floor when firefighters arrived at the scene to battle to blaze. Crews are working to get the fire under control. No estimate of time has been released at this time as to when that will be.

No injuries have been reported at this time as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire has not been released at this time, but will be under investigation.
