The victim told police the robber pulled out a gun, demanded her dog, then fled the scene in a car.
WASHINGTON — D.C. Police is asking for the community’s help locating a dog that was stolen in Southeast.
On Saturday, officers said the victim was walking her French Bulldog in the 1700 block of Fort Davis Street at 8:20 p.m. when the robber walked up to her. The victim told police the robber pulled out a gun, demanded her dog, then fled the scene in a car.
Nearby surveillance cameras were able to capture the robber’s car, it looks like a black four-door sedan. The dog is two-years-old named Yurman.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 202-727-9099. A reward of $10,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
