A Northern Virginia community donates supplies to areas impacted by Hurricane Helene as one of their own takes to the skies to deliver the essentials.
GAINESVILLE, Va. — Jeff and Danni Locke from The Plains, Virginia are using their unique skills to help those who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene. And they need your help too!
The Locke family is collecting donations of essential supplies to take to North Carolina and Tennessee. Jeff Locke is a pilot, and he plans to fill up his airplane with all the donations and deliver them to the areas that need them most.
Thanks to the overwhelming support from neighbors, Jeff Locke already anticipates having to take multiple trips to deliver the donations that have already received. The Lockes have also secured several trailers to help deliver the supplies.
They are still looking for donations and would love any additional help from pilots that can help make deliveries. If you can fly down any supplies please reach out to Danni Locke at Daniellegreensalesassociates@gmail.com.
If you would like to donate there are three drop off locations and a list of needed supplies below. Your donations will help those living in Ashville, Hickory, and Concord North Carolina, as well as Mountain City, Tennessee.
