Prince George's County:

Montgomery County:
- Residents living Montgomery County can call the police non-emergency line 301-279-8000.
- Neighbors can also visit any of the county's libraries or recreation centers.
- For timely severe weather and emergency notifications, go to alert.montgomerycountymd.gov and sign up for Alert Montgomery.
Frederick County:
Emergency shelter locations are only opened based on the needs of an ongoing event. Information will be posted if the county makes the determination a shelter is necessary. Public buildings such as libraries are good locations to warm up / cool down. If you find yourself in need of shelter due to a personal emergency, the following resources may help you:
