MARYLAND, USA — The temperatures throughout the DMV are expected to be more than just frigid this week leading into the holidays. We want to all help our neighbors in Maryland stay warm.

Prince George's County:

Montgomery County:

  1. Residents living Montgomery County can call the police non-emergency line 301-279-8000. 
  2. Neighbors can also visit any of the county's libraries or recreation centers. 
  3. For timely severe weather and emergency notifications, go to   alert.montgomerycountymd.gov and sign up for Alert Montgomery.

Frederick County:

Emergency shelter locations are only opened based on the needs of an ongoing event. Information will be posted if the county makes the determination a shelter is necessary. Public buildings such as libraries are good locations to warm up / cool down. If you find yourself in need of shelter due to a personal emergency, the following resources may help you:
