If you're a fan of The Mandalorian, then you know the show is always filled with unexpected cameos.

And today's episode, "Chapter 22: Guns for Hire," featured not one, but two of the most unexpected cameos ever: Lizzo and Jack Black.

The two played the Duchess and Captain Bombardier, a married couple and democratically elected rulers of a planet named Plazir-15, which is being terrorized by its droids (which are programmed to do all the work for the living beings on the planet). For longtime fans, the episode paid homage to the prequels and the style of one-off stories featured on The Clone Wars.

For Lizzo, this is a full-circle moment. Not only is she a big The Mandalorian and Star Wars fan, but she also dressed up as Grogu for Halloween back in 2021:
