PARIS, France — As the summer sun warms the streets of the DMV, a different kind of heat builds among its athletes destined for Paris: the feverish excitement of Olympic dreams coming true.
Several local athletes will be going for gold this summer in Paris. Among them is Quincy Wilson, the youngest U.S. male track & field athlete to make an Olympic team, according to historians. Also Taylor Knibb who represents the only U.S. athlete to qualify for two sports.
