D.C. Police are still looking for the suspect. The victim has been taken to a hospital for treatment.
WASHINGTON — A man has been critically injured in a shooting Friday night near Nationals Park, and D.C. Police say the suspect is still at-large.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) says the 1300 Block of South Capitol Street at N Street Southwest have been closed for the investigation. MPD was called to the scene Friday night where they found a man shot but conscious and breathing.
The man has been taken to a local area hospital for treatment and MPD says it is searching for a man with a beard, wearing all dark clothing, as a suspect in this case. Police have not shared any other details about the victim or the suspect so far.
