Margot Robbie's outfit at the Los Angeles premiere of Barbie was almost an exact replica of Barbie's Solo in the Spotlight dress from 1960.
So, we are officially only a few days away from Barbie hitting theaters, AKA the most highly-anticipated movie event of the year.
Directed by Greta Gerwig and written by Greta and Noah Baumbach, Barbie is set to follow Barbie (Margot Robbie) as she lives in Barbie Land with Ken (Ryan Gosling) and other Barbies and Kens. However, one day, Barbie decides to take a trip to the real world.
While the film hasn't even been released yet, every single thing about the movie makes people more and more excited. From the trailers to posters of the characters, everything Barbie is all anyone wants to talk about.
Now that we are in PEAK Barbie season, aka the movie's press tour, we've been getting some amazing fashion moments from the cast and crew, namely Margot, who has been crushing it.
Fashion is such an important aspect of Barbie, so it's been so great to see Margot's outfits for every single press event
Margot has been styled by Andrew Mukamal, who has helped put together her amazing looks for the Barbie press tour and premieres.
While every look has been better than the last, certain outfits Margot has worn are directly inspired by Barbie dolls, and it's so impressive. So, here are a bunch of side-by-sides that show Margot's outfits vs. the dolls they're inspired by:
