Kevin and Matthew McManus have wrapped filming on “Redux Redux,” the first movie from their new production company, Mothership Motion Pictures.

The horror thriller stars their sister Michaela McManus (“The Block Island Sound,” “The Orville”), Jim Cummings (“Thunder Road,” “The Wolf of Snow Hollow”), Jeremy Holm (“House of Cards,” “Brooklyn 45”), Taylor Misiak (“Dave”), Grace Van Dien (“Stranger Things”) and newcomer Stella Marcus.

“Redux Redux” follows Irene Kelly (McManus) as she travels through the multiverse, killing her daughter’s murderer over and over again. She grows addicted to the revenge streak, putting her own humanity in jeopardy.

Mothership Motion Pictures, which reunites the team behind festival favorites “Funeral Kings” and “13 Cameras,” is the brainchild of producers Michael J. McGarry (“The Wolf of Snow Hollow”), PJ McCabe (“The Beta Test”), Nate Cormier (“Star Wars: Bad Batch”) and the McManus duo. The independent production company will specialize in artist-driven genre films.

Kevin and Matthew McManus rose to prominence as writers and producers on Netflix’s “Cobra Kai” and “American Vandal.” Their work on the latter earned the brothers an Emmy nomination and a Peabody Award. The pair also co-wrote and co-directed “The Block Island Sound,” which premiered on Netflix in 2021.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be working with the entire Mothership team to bring ‘Redux Redux’ to the big screen,” said the McManus brothers. “We’re thrilled to follow up ‘The Block Island Sound’ with another genre bender starring our sister in her most violent role yet. We can’t wait to share it with audiences next year.”
