My Excitement For "Beetlejuice 2" Just Grew After Seeing This Pic Of Winona Ryder Back As Lydia

Guess what? The first photos from Beetlejuice 2 are here!!

Winona Ryder was seen on set as Lydia Deetz, her iconic character from the 1988 film.

In the photos, she's dressed in one of Lydia's signature black outfits with her hair in that same tousled updo with spiked bangs. Winona was pictured in the passenger seat of a Tesla, which was reportedly being driven by her costar Michael Keaton.

It's just wild because she looks the EXACT SAME. Like, it's like she never stopped being Lydia!

But the movie has a really good cast in general. In addition to Winona and Michael, it reportedly features Wednesday's Jenna Ortega as Lydia's daughter and Justin Theroux — though his role has not yet been revealed.

While the plot is unclear, Beetlejuice 2 is expected to resume after the events in the first film, with Beetlejuice returning from the afterlife to cause havoc for Lydia and her daughter.
