The organizers behind the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics shared the musical lineup and teased "additional surprise guests" for the handover during the Closing Ceremony.

PARIS, France — An all-star lineup of California-based music artists will be performing as part of the handover celebration to Los Angeles during the Paris Olympics Closing Ceremony.

LA28 organizers revealed Saturday that Snoop Dogg, Billie Eilish and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will all be performing. It was previously announced that H.E.R. would be singing the U.S. national anthem in Paris.

"This is the biggest moment in LA28 history to date, as the Olympic flag passes from Paris to LA,” said LA28 Chairperson Casey Wasserman. “We are thrilled to feature the very best of LA with local artists and are grateful to Billie, H.E.R., the Chili Peppers and Snoop for their collaboration on what will be an incredible show to a global audience that will give fans a taste of what’s to come in 2028.”

Snoop Dogg has been one of the stars of the Paris Games and worked as a prime-time correspondent for NBC.

The organizers behind the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics teased "additional surprise guests" but didn't confirm Tom Cruise's widely reported role. TMZ has said the plan includes Cruise rappelling down from the top of the Stade de France. The live broadcast will reportedly then cut to prerecorded footage of the A-list star flying from France to California, before skydiving down to the Hollywood sign.

According to the Los Angeles Times, LA28 will have about 15 minutes during the Closing Ceremony before the official Olympic flag handover.

The Closing Ceremony has been named "Records," by Thomas Jolly, artistic director of the Paris 2024 Games ceremonies.

"Part of the show will take place in the air, while the giant sets, costumes and spectacular lighting effects will take spectators on a journey through time, both past and future," according to the Olympics website

After the Closing Ceremony re-airs in primetime. there will be a "Countdown to LA28" special on NBC and Peacock at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Organizers say the special, hosted by tennis champion Venus Williams, will be the "world's biggest beach party."
