Die-hard fan or not, you've probably heard three new Star Wars films are on the way.

If not, I'm here to break it to you.
At Lucasfilm's Studio Showcase at Star Wars Celebration 2023, Kathleen Kennedy introduced James Mangold, Dave Filoni, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy as the directors of the three new upcoming Star Wars films.

So stoked!
According to IGN, James Mangold's film will focus on the beginning of the Jedi, and Dave Filoni's will concentrate on the New Republic.

As for Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy's film? Well, it will take place after the events of The Rise of Skywalker, and, yes, Daisy Ridley is returning!

The new entry will focus on Rey as she builds a new Jedi Order following the events of Episode IX. It will be one of the first Star Wars feature films since 2019's The Rise of Skywalker. As for the director, Obaid-Chinoy will be the first woman and person of color to direct a Star Wars movie.
Everyone, including me, was excited for Daisy's return as "Rey" to the franchise, but it quickly got fans asking: Does this mean Finn is coming back too?

If you remember, John Boyega was pretty vocal about his disappointment with the franchise and how his character was treated on and off-screen, but that didn't stop the fandom from wishful thinking.

And the fans didn't forget to call for Kelly Marie Tran's return as Rose, either. However, after Kelly expressed all the racist and sexist harassment she received, it's unlikely she should give the franchise a second chance.

it's highly unlikely that kelly marie tran, john boyega, oscar isaac or adam driver will be back, and i'm not exactly excited to see rey being all alone and doing something that she never expressed intrest in doing before, so like there's not much incentive to watch it :(
I WANT THEM ALL BACK! Perhaps a good Jedi mind trick will get everybody back on the same page, and we can get John, Kelly, Daisy, and Oscar back together again.

If Disney can recognize the vitriol and mistreatment the actors experienced, apologize, and make it right, they can give this franchise new hope. Please make it happen.
