"The Mass Effect trilogy. I'm by no means a casual video game player. I've been playing video games since I was 4, starting with Super Mario Bros. I'm now in my 40s, and my 'repertoire' of video games is extensive.

It's possibly (besides Elder Scrolls) the definitive role-playing experience for a modern era. It ticks all the right points: story-driven, exploration, action, romance, and the best part: YOU get to be the now legendary Commander Shepherd. The Mass Effect trilogy will force you to live through all stages of grief at the same time — and in another hot minute, it'll have you in stitches.

I had played this game so many times, that I have accumulated 500 hours of playtime. It rivaled my Elder Scrolls experience, which I never anticipated. The Elder Scrolls is its own beast of a game, but it just didn't have the gravitas that I could only find in Mass Effect."
