WASHINGTON — DC Police is investigating a double stabbing that took place in the 1800 block of Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest.
Police say two men were stabbed in a Georgetown Safeway parking garage just after 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. According to police, both men took themselves to a local hospital, which reported their conditions as "conscious and breathing".
However, hours later police said one of the men died at the hospital. The second victim's injuries are still considered non-life threatening. It is unclear if the men knew each other, if this was a targeted attack, or if it was random.
Police have not released any information regarding the men's identities or a suspect lookout. This is an ongoing investigation, we will update you when more information becomes available.
