Police ask for help finding missing Maryland man

His truck was found hours after he went missing in the area of northbound I-95, near Brooklyn Bridge Road in Prince George’s County. No one was inside.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Police are asking for the public's help finding a man who went missing over a week ago in Maryland.

Mark Raymond Mathias, 54, of Odenton, was last seen at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26 in Anne Arundel County.

He is described as 5-foot-8 and 280 pounds. He was last seen wearing black shorts, a black T-shirt, and a black baseball cap. Police say he may have traveled to the BWI Marshall Airport or surrounding areas.

Three hours after last being seen, at 11:30 p.m. that Wednesday, police found his white 2007 Chevy Silverado in the area of northbound Interstate 95 near Brooklyn Bridge Road in Prince George's County following a crash. No one was in the car when troopers pulled up to the crash site.
