Police believe two missing Maryland teens may be together

The two 13-year-old girls were last seen Wednesday at 7:15 a.m.

SILVER SPRING, Md. — Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police are asking for the public's help locating two missing teenage girls believed to be traveling together.

Police say 13-year-old Allison Flores of Laurel went missing early Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. 

She was last seen on Talbot Avenue.

Flores is described as 5-foot-2, 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what clothing she was last seen wearing.

Police say 13-year-old Erica Sofia Mejia of Silver Spring also went missing Wednesday at 7:15 a.m.

She was last seen on Innsbruck Court.

Mejia is described as 4-foot-9, 110 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes. It is also unknown what she was last seen wearing.

Investigators believe Flores and Mejia may be traveling together.

Police and family are concerned for the welfare of the two missing girls.
