MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — An investigation is underway in Montgomery County after someone was shot and killed on Monday.
Police say the shooting took place outside apartments on Clubhouse Road in Montgomery Village just after 11:30 a.m. The shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
At 2:15 p.m., a spokesperson with the Montgomery County Police Department held a press conference to update the public on its investigation.
So far, no one has been identified or arrested as a suspect in the homicide. The investigation into the deadly shooting is active and ongoing.
A medical examiner is on the way to investigate the cause of death and provide further details.
Police say although no suspects have been identified, they are looking into a house of interest.
Investigators say the shooting was an isolated incident between two parties. There is no ongoing threat to the public at this time.
