Investigators are still working to learn exactly what happened.
ACCOKEEK, Md. — Police are investigating after a shot was fired near a bus stop before classes on Thursday in Prince George's County. Investigators believe someone tried to rob students waiting to go to school.
Officers with the Prince George's County Police Department were first called to the 15900 block of Livingston Road in Accokeek for the report of a gunshots in the area. Police say a group of teens were waiting at the bus stop when someone tried to rob them. A spokesperson says one shot was fired into the air, but no one was hit. No injuries were reported.
Police are still investigating and remain on the scene gathering evidence and interviewing potential witnesses. It is not clear whether anyone has been arrested.
